Product Engineer – Mobile Hybrid/Reach Native

Job Description

Routematic is a leading Transportation and Solution company. We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer to join our dynamic team and help us build and maintain our cross-platform mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Design and Development:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable React Native code.
2. Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions.

Integration:

1. Integrate third-party APIs and services.
2. Work closely with the backend development team to ensure seamless integration with the server-side logic.

Optimization:

1. Optimize the app for maximum performance and scalability.
2. Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs.

Testing and Debugging:

1. Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests.
2. Debug and resolve issues, ensuring the application is stable and robust.

Collaboration:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers,and other developers.
2. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.

Documentation:

1. Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 4-6 years of professional experience in mobile app development with React Native.
3. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React/React Native.
4. Solid understanding of mobile app design principles, interface guidelines, and best practices.
5. Experience with state management libraries like Redux or MobX.
6. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
7. Knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, etc.
8. Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest or Mocha.
9. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have:

1. Experience with native mobile app development (iOS/Android).
2. Knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
3. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
