Job Summary:
As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for all software tools, platforms, licenses, and services required to support our AI-based SaaS product offerings, as well as managing the procurement of fleet services (vehicles, logistics, maintenance, etc.). This is a cross-functional role that involves working closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Procurement:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors of cloud services, APIs, AI tools, and SaaS platforms.
- Ensure compliance with licensing models, renewals, upgrades, and SLAs.
- Optimize software spending and recommend cost-saving strategies.
- Collaborate with IT and Engineering to assess technology needs and align procurement plans.
Fleet Services Procurement:
- Oversee sourcing and procurement of vehicle fleet services including leasing, maintenance, fuel, GPS/telematics, insurance, and logistics support.
- Develop vendor scorecards and manage performance of third-party fleet partners.
- Lead RFQs/RFPs for vehicle sourcing and fleet operations support services.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure vehicles meet safety, compliance, and operational standards.
General Procurement & Strategy:
- Build and implement procurement policies, processes, and tools.
- Drive contract negotiations and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Analyze spend data and supplier performance for strategic sourcing decisions.
- Manage procurement budgets and report on cost savings and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in tech/software or fleet services.
- Proven experience negotiating SaaS and cloud service contracts.
- Strong understanding of fleet operations and vendor management in mobility/logistics.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.) is a plus.
